VI. Interrogative sentences

Interrogative sentences are formed by using ma 吗 or méi yǒu 没有 at the end of the sentence.

  1. Nǐ zuòwán zuòyè le ma? or: Nǐ zuòwán zuòyè le méiyǒu?
    你做完作业了吗？ 你做完作业了没有？
    Have you finished doing your homework?

    Positive answer


  2. Zuòwán le.
    做完了。
    Yes, I have.

    Negative answer


  3. Méi zuòwán.
    没做完。
    I haven't.
