会 (huì) has multiple uses, but in this context, it is being used to
express the possibility of an action happening in the future.

Basic Usage
-----------

### Structure

As well as [expressing a learned
skill](Expressing_a_learned_skill_with_"hui" "wikilink"), 会 (huì) can
also be used to indicate that something *will* happen or that someone
*will* do something.

    tomorrow?</span>
-   我 出去 一下，很 快 <em>会</em> 回来。 <span class="pinyin">Wǒ chūqù
    yīxià, hěnkuài <em>huì</em> huílái.</span><span class="trans">I'm
    going out for a little while. I'll come back very soon.</span>
-   老板 <em>会</em> 同意 吗？<span class="pinyin">Lǎobǎn <em>huì</em>
    tóngyì ma?</span><span class="trans">Will the boss agree?</span>
-   你 女儿 <em>会</em> 听 你 的 话。<span class="pinyin">Nǐ nǚér
    <em>huì</em> tīng nǐ de huà.</span><span class="trans">Your daughter
    will listen to you.</span>
-   下班 以后 ， 我 <em>会</em> 给 你 打 电话。
    <span class="pinyin">Xiàbān yǐhòu, wǒ <em>huì</em> gěi nǐ dǎ

Negating 会 (huì) with 不 (bù)
------------------------------

Nothing new here. You remember everyone's favorite [Negative Nelly 不
