Using 反正 (fǎnzhèng) can be a bit addictive as it is seemingly possible to throw in everywhere. It means "anyhow," or "regardless"， and is used to disregard a previous statement, particularly those involving options or choices.

Using 反正 to mean no matter what

Structure

Just put 反正 in the sentence after a comma or pause, similar to how we use "anyways" in English. It can be used with "不管."

Examples

不管他去不去，反正我要去。No matter he's going or not, I'm going anyway.
不管你信不信，反正我信了。No matter you believe this or not, I believe it anyway.
你想去哪儿就去哪儿吧，反正我无所谓。Go wherever you want. I don't really care anyway.
说不说都一样，反正没有人会听我的意见。Speaking or not is all the same. Nobody is going to listen to what my opinion anyway.
他们怎么想都不重要，反正我已经决定了。What they think doesn't matter. I made my decision anyway.

Structure

反正, in this case, is used to convey a certainty or resolution. It‘s similar to 既然. It can be placed either at the beginning or the end while 既然 can only be placed at the beginning.

反正他们不来了，咱们自己去吧。They are not coming anyway, so let's just go by ourselves.
反正我也不需要，就送给你吧。I don't need it anyway. So I'll just give it to you.
反正我家够大，你们今晚都住这儿吧。My house is big enough, you can all stay here tonight.
反正大家都知道了，你还怕什么？Everybody knows about it now. So what are you still afraid of?
反正我已经送了礼物，要不要是她的事。I've already given her the present. It's her business to take it or not.
