<p><span style="color: rgb(139, 0, 0); font-family: NotoSansCJKsc; font-size: 22px;">不是⋯⋯而是⋯⋯</span> (<span class="pinyin">bù shì... ér shì</span>) means "<b>not A, but rather B.</b>" This is a useful phrase to use in arguments to overturn a point of view and state the opposite.</p>
