"再说⋯⋯" (zàishuō...) is used in a similar way as "In addition" or "Moreover," in that it is adding on additional information or reasons to the topic at hand.

== Structure ==

Just add 再说 to the beginning of the second clause of your sentence. Remember that both statements should be related to each other!

*那 件 衣服 太 贵 了 ， 我 没 买 。 <em>再说</em> ， 也 不 是 很 好看 。 <span class="pinyin">Nà jiàn yīfu tài guì le, wǒ méi mǎi. <em>Zàishuō</em>, yě bù shì hěn hǎokàn.</span><span class="trans">That piece of clothing is too expensive. I didn't buy it. Besides, it's not so beautiful.</span>
*我 还 小 ， 不 想 结婚 。 <em>再说</em> ，也 没 遇到 合适 的 人 。 <span class="pinyin">Wǒ hái xiǎo, bù xiǎng jiéhūn. <em>Zàishuō</em>, yě méi yùdào héshì de rén.</span><span class="trans">I don't want to get married yet because I'm still young. Besides, I haven't met the right one.</span>
*明天 去 吧 ， 我 今天 太 累 了 。<em>再说</em> ， 现在 超市 已经 关门 了 。 <span class="pinyin">Míngtiān qù bā, wǒ jīntiān tài lèi le. <em>Zàishuō</em>, xiànzài chāoshì yǐjīng guānmén le.</span><span class="trans">Let's go tomorrow. Besides, the supermarket is closed now.</span>
*你 别 生气 ，这 不 是 他 的 错 。<em>再说</em> ，这 也 不 是 什么 大 事 。 <span class="pinyin">Nǐ bié shēngqì, zhè bù shì tā de cuò. <em>Zàishuō</em>, zhè yě bù shì shénme dà shì.</span><span class="trans">Don't be so mad. It's not his fault. Besides, it's not a big deal.</span>
*你 已经 吃 了 五 个 了 ，别 吃 了 。<em>再说</em> ，我们 都 还 没吃 呢 。<span class="pinyin">Nǐ yǐjīng chī le wǔ gè le, bié chī le. <em>Zàishuō</em>, wǒmen dōu hái méi chī ne.</span><span class="trans">You've eaten five. Stop eating. Besides, the rest of us haven't eaten yet.</span>
