This first volume in a three-part series intended to follow the Quinmester course "Survive a Russian Party" prescribes broad goals and performance objectives for the development of listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. Students practice conversational skills in Russian over the telephone, discuss everyday activities from writing to playing soccer, and plan a Russian-style picnic in the mountains.
