  1. In case of a chance encounter with the enemy, the guerrillas should act automatically and in close cooperation.

  2. The most important hand and arm signals are:

    1. Freeze!

    2. Enemy in sight!

    3. Left, front, right!

    4. Hasty ambush (left, right)!

    5. All clear!

  3. The silent "Freeze" signal should be given when the patrol sights the enemy, but is not itself detected.

  4. The patrol leader identifies the aircraft and gives further commands.

  5. One returns fire immediately, finds cover quickly and continues firing until directed otherwise whenever one finds oneself in the killing zone during a far ambush.
