Eagle Flying

The eagle kite can swoop and soar like a bird. To make it rise you must tack to the wind, swooping in upward arcs. The same applies to the downward motion. It can glide laterally like a bird and a skilled flyer can make it appear to have natural flight patterns. It must be handled carefully in changing winds.

Unfortunately, the flight ended in disaster. My friend shrugged and, pointing to his box of kites, said, "It happens, you always have spares."
