| Tang Jingkun 唐镜琨 from Tianjin painted this kite in the 1990s. It is made of silk and measures 55 by 56 centimeters. It has symbols for happiness and good fortune (bats), longevity (peaches), wealth (coins in the center), and prosperity (fish). Tianjin is another famous center for kite making in China. Unless noted, all other kites on this site are from Beijing artists. |
