Beijing Underground City 北京地下城

Some of the objects that might have been found in the tunnels had they ever been used are displayed on a ledge. Canteens and a mug are easy to recognize. The piece of equipment to the left might be a Geiger counter. It is doubtful that the tunnels would have resisted a direct hit from an atomic bomb, but they were well designed for more conventional bombing raids
