bamboo baby carriage

Qianmen Hutong 前门胡同

These bamboo baby carriages were used up to the 1990s. You still find them in use for marketing, or, in one case, an elderly woman was using it as a walker. She had loaded it with the bricks so it wouldn't tip. She liked it better than a wheel chair. I included two views of the same carriage because I like them. Below, is a bamboo stroller being used for what it was intended.
