| Although the gate had five sections, it had been narrowed considerably during successive remodeling. Note that the pillars on the neighborhood gate below are supported by bracing and that stores had already blocked the outer portals. In 2008, we will see that the gate has been rebuilt yet again to return it to its original dimensions. |
