Rebuilding Qianmen 前门改造

The modesty walls at the end of Qianmen Dajie where it meets Zhushikou Xidajie give an overview of the plan. Above, stores at the northern end of Qianmen Dajie will include traditional Chinese and Western architecture from the 1800s.

Below, you can see the moat that will divide the Archery Gate from Qianmen Dajie. A bridge will connect them, recreating a bridge that existed until the early 1900s.
