Beijing Zoo 北京动物园

Most of the small animals are in glass fronted enclosures. These haven't changed in at least ten years. Other parts of the zoo have been refurbished and many additions have been made. A new aquarium with a performance pool was added in 1999. In addition to the expansion of the Panda House, the Monkey Mountain was being rebuilt in 2008 and the gardens were receiving expert attention in time for the Olympics.
