Cats can reach most places on their body by twisting and turning. They are very supple, which also helps when they want to hide in rocks or among the trees. The areas of their body that can't be reached directly with the tongue are groomed with the paws. They lick their paws and then draw the paw over their head, or more especially, their ears. The hair within their ears traps particles and insects and they are combed out by the paws. |
