Dining room in one of the living areas

This is one of the areas for children two to three years old. There are 3 or 4 caregivers in each of the small living areas depending on the needs of the children. The ayis are all Chinese women. Most of them have worked at the village from the beginning, giving the children a stable care environment. The only problem with an age based care division is that as the children move to other houses, they leave their familiar environment.
