Sheep made of tiny shells

Shell Figures

Shell figures are another form of traditional Chinese handicraft. The shells are placed by hand and glued to a form underneath. I don't know what the form is made of today, but in the past clay was often used. Today, the forms are probably made commercially, but the detail work is still done by hand.
