On the left, the Olympic committee built a special exhibition center to educate and excite people about the Olympics. Many people passed by because you had to go through security to get in, and there was a line. The mountain was built to signify the origin of the Olympics. The other sign of the Olympics are the new surveillance cameras on top of the mountain. Security was one of the major concerns of the Chinese government during the Olympics. Outside the exhibition center there were large billboards along the outside wall of the park showing the history of the Olympics. Below, you can see the panels for 1988 and 1992. |
