Chinese Yo-yo 空竹

These are ordinary guys who come to the local park in the morning, gossip, practice, and may or may not be friends away from the park. There is no club or organization. Some work together, others go off a distance to concentrate on their own play. The gentleman above is a beginner and the one below has been playing for three years. He is the master, the teacher, he demonstrates and sometimes comments. Mostly he just plays and then others watch and go off and try it for themselves. There are no lessons, no obligation - it's almost like the Internet, where gurus take it upon themselves to introduce the newbie to the game.
