The detail of the halter and fittings used on the chariot horses shows thst the head piece, stall, nose, and cheek pieces were very similar to those used today. The studding on the main harness pieces was of gold and silver. I assume that those shown are replicas, the real gold and silver being placed in secure display cases in the museum. |
