Below are two maps that I found after I finished researching these buildings. Isn't that always the way? One is from 1912 and the second is from 1933. |
The two maps shown here bracket the building boom of the early 1900's. The 1912 map does not show all structures, just the primary buildings. Notice the difference in the size of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank and the Customs House between 1912 and 1933.
