RealPlayer Movies are on average 2 megs. The Introduction is 14 megs. They will play adequately on a 56k modem, but a faster Internet connection is recommended. For some reason Netscape 4.7 does not access the site, other browsers work fine. The movies are sized for classroom presentation. While not broadcast quality, you can play them in "theater mode" for projection. You will need Real Player 6 or better. The Real Player is free, download it at Real.

To see Chinese characters on this page and on the vocabulary pages, you have to have a Chinese Simplified (GB2312) font installed in your web browser. This is not necessary to see and print the Chinese characters in the Flash 6 versions of the poems.

Three poems have no sound. You may view them in Flash. The English translation and Pinyin transliteration are provided.
