| Another water source for the city was provided by the Inner and Outer Golden Streams 外金水河 (Wài Jīnshuǐ Hé). The Outer Golden Water Stream, or Outer Golden Water River, runs under the bridges in front of Tian'anmen Gate. This is a view of the Outer Golden Water Stream to the east of the Forbidden City. The stream moves underground after this point. |
