Lugou Qiao - Marco Polo Bridge
卢沟桥的历史

The Marco Polo Bridge was built from 1188 to 1192 during the Jin Dynasty. It is 212.2 meters long and 9.3 meters wide. It has 11 semicircular arches, ranging from 11.4m to 13.45 m in span. It is supported by piers ranging from 6.5 meters to 7.9 meters wide. The side of the piers facing upstream are pointed and inlaid with triangular iron bars, while the downstream sides are squared off with rounded corners.
