Dong Qichang, was one of the great masters of both painting and calligraphy of the Ming Dynasty.
He was a native of Songjiang, Shanghai and was also known by his designated name Xuanzai 玄宰 and
his literary names Siweng 思翁 and Xiangguang Jushi 香光居士 .
