Wen Zhengming 文徵明 (1470-1559).
Wen Zhengming was born in Changzhou (today it is Wuxian, Jiangsu Province).
He specialized in landscapes, flowers, orchids, and bamboo, painting delicately to emphasize peaceful compositions.
He is also known as Zhengzhong 徵中 , his designated name and by Hengshan 衡山 and Tingyunsheng 停云生, his literary names.
