| This jade bi was a ritual object believed to carry magical properties. The shape remains a strong symbol of long life and good fortune in China. It was used during the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty (1027 - 771 BC). It was excavated from a site in Dongjia Village, Qishan County. |
