Pottery Man - Funerary Object

This painted pottery figure is of a man who is dressed in formal attire. He was a burial object in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). It was made in 664 in the first year of the Linde reign. It was excavated from the tomb of Zheng Rentai, Liquan County. Examples of male attire in the Tang Dynasty can be found HERE.
