Terracotta Warriors 秦俑

Terracotta Warriors
兵马俑

At the back of the hall in Pit 1 there is a raised area where the scientists work to reconstruct warriors from the bits and pieces in the rubble. Langhals and Bathelt (2003) say that their technique of preserving paint works even better on the small pieces because it is easier to get an adequate coating on the surface. The larger sections require large chambers and it is more difficult to evenly treat the entire surface.
