Bronze Covered Pot

This covered bronze pot has animal symbol designs around the "waist" of the pot. It was a common motif through the Bronze Age. By this era, bronze ware had reached a more sophisticated level of design. It is an ancient cooking vessel that was used on ceremonial occassions.
