| This wine vessel measures 13.19 inches (33.5 centimeters) and weighs 10.98 pounds (4.98 kilograms). It's called 柏格卣 Boge You (bógé yǒu) because Boge made it. This pot is referred to as a "you", usually wine containers are called "zun." This wine container has a handle and lid, but so do some zun.
There are 6 characters engraved on the inside of the lid of the you and are repeated on the bottom of the you. The you was excavated in Zhuyuangou Village, Baoji, Shaanxi. |
