Only verbs such as <span class="pinyin">gěi</span> <span class="hanzi">给</span>, <span class="pinyin">sòng</span> <span class="hanzi">送</span>, <span class="pinyin">gàosù</span> <span class="hanzi">告诉</span>, <span class="pinyin">wèi</span> <span class="hanzi">喂</span>, <span class="pinyin">jiāo</span> <span class="hanzi">浇</span>, <span class="pinyin">tōngzhī</span> <span class="hanzi">通知</span>, <span class="pinyin">zhuǎngào</span> <span class="hanzi">转告</span> and so on can take a noun or pronoun as the indirect object to point out the recipient of the direct object in <span class="pinyin">bǎ</span> <span class="hanzi">把</span> sentences. These verbs usually imply transferring or passing something to someone else.</p></li>
