  22. <p>The verb <span class="hanzi">有</span> (<span class="pinyin">yǒu</span>), which means "<b>to have</b>," can also be used to express <b>existence</b>. This is similar to saying "<b>there is</b>" or "<b>there are</b>" in English.</p>
