Veteran of Anti-Japanese war sends peace sign to America

The Lugouqiao Incident
卢沟桥事变

He didn't really want to talk about the war. He wanted to talk about America and China. His message was simply "Peace". He was concerned to tell ordinary people in America that ordinary people in China wished them friendship. He talked about how we had fought together in WWII and that we should be friends.
