Qianmen Hutong 前门胡同

This doorway probably led to a workshop or factory. The plain columns are the clue, not the wooden filler for the doorway. That has probably been replaced. The stone guardians at the sides of the doorway are probably original. All detail has been worn away because the doorway is shallow, giving them little protection from rain and snow.
