Beijing Zoo 北京动物园

Across the street from the Beijing Zoo, development of a huge wholesale market has brought more congestion to the area. Below, old electric trolleys help to control pollution. Many of the trolley lines were taken out during early modernization, but it finally occurred to people that they weren't "old-fashioned" but rather the modern "green" choice.
