| Many people think that when they see zoo animals sleeping all day, the animals are bored. No, they just sleep more than we do, and sleep when they do not have to hunt or feed. They are great conservers of energy. On a hot day you will never find them toting around a couple of kids, a bag of snacks and drinks, and a camera or two. Their opinion of us must be much more interesting than our opinion of them. |
