The balloons kept them busy and happy for a good half hour. Some of these children owe their smiles to the health care provided by Shepherd's Field. One of the reasons that other orphanages will send children here is that the staff can deal with extreme medical problems. Over the past couple of years they have had a number of infants who needed heart surgery. Sponsors were found to pay for it. Not all of the children survived, but those who did will live long lives because of it. |
