Eggs

While I was gone, the farmer had been out to gather eggs. He sells surplus eggs when he has them, but they use a lot of eggs in cooking. He sells corn, apples, peaches, wheat, tomatoes, green peppers, and whatever other vegetables do well. Most of the garden vegetables are for home consumption over the year. Peaches are dried for the winter and the apples go into the cellar with the cabbages and potatoes.
