| The process begins with a blob of sugar, kept warm and softened in a crock next to him. He then draws out a tube and begins to blow into the sugar, manipulating the blob with his fingers to create different sections of the shape. The whole thing will turn out paper thin. No extra materials clumped into the figure. When you hold it to the light it is translucent. A few touches of paint for detail and it is done.
Below, you see the end result. If kept cool and dry the toy will last for several months, once the humidity hits, it will begin to sag.
