Fishhooks 鱼钩

These tiny fishhooks found at the Banpo Neolithic site are made of bone. The tiny size indicates the ability to make strong thin line. Although they could have used heavier line and just had short lengths of fine line to tie on the hook. The development of the barb, shown on the smaller hook, is interesting. It shows that a lot of fish were able to slip the hook, even in those days.
