| This is one of the most photographed boats in Tongli. It is the trash collector or, sorry, a junk. The bend in the canal creates a natural eddy that brings the debris of the tourists to this section. One of the older bridges in Tongli is in the background.
Keeping the waterways clean is a priority in all of the ancient villages. The health of the village depends upon it. |
