Another rich source of knowledge about the early culture and the development of calligraphy as an art form comes
from both metal and clay vessles unearthed throughout China. The bronze age brought a change of shape to the
characters to fit the medium. This bowl dates to the period of the famous Duke of Zhou who inspired Confucius.
