Ni Yuanlu was born in Shangyu, Zhejiang Province. His designated name is Ruyu 汝玉 and his literary
name is Hongbao 鸿宝. Li Bai (701-762), along with Du Fu, is considered the greatest of the Chinese
poets. He lived during the Tang Dynasty. This scroll is from the later part of the
Ming Dynasty
