Bo Fang Ding - Ceremonial Object
伯方鼎  礼器

This ding was a ceremonial object which may have held food or other offerings during the celebration of rites. It is engraved with the characters 伯方 "Bo Fang", where Fang is a family name. It was used during the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty (947 - 858 BC). It was excavated from a site in Zuyuangou, Baoji City in 1974.
