Wu Si Wei Ding - Cooking Vessel
五祀卫鼎   烹饪器

This ding is inscribed with the characters 五祀卫 "Wu Si Wei" and is inscribed with characters on the bottom of the interior of the vessel. On the next page there are three partial images of those characters. The ding was used during the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty (947 - 858 BC). It was excavated from a site in Dongjia Village, Qishan County.
