| The Oriental Pearl television tower to the left was finished in 1994 and was a symbol of the development of Shanghai. Now it has to compete with hundreds of symbols. Designed by Shanghai Modern Architectural Design, it is 1,535 feet high and has 14 floors. In the center, the Jin Mao Tower was completed in 1998 and is 88 floors, 1,380 feet (420.5m) high. On the right, the Aurora Plaza is 519.028 feet (158.2 m) and 37 floors. |
