The four mascots appeared everywhere in Beijing and most places through China.  Somehow they look better on a kite than on gold and silver paperweights.  Segmented kites are easy to fly even when the wind is light.  This young man was able to keep the kite in flight even though the cool spring day in March 2008 had barely a breath of wind.</font></td>
