										This is how the Fuchengmen gate looked in the 1930s. This is the formal inner gate with a wooden superstructure. There are two maps below. The first shows the location of Xibianmen, the western corner gate and mirror of Dongbianmen, the gate where we started. The second shows the location of Fuchengmen. I didn't get any pictures of Xibianmen but included the map for completeness.</font></div>
