							<td><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">There are all types of symbols associated with Spring Festival but the most common is the fish.  The fish stands for prosperity and success in life.  It is an ancient symbol going back to the neolithic age.  If the fishing is good, the whole village is healthy and they will have enough to trade with other villages.</font>
								<p><font size="-1" color="white" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The fish and other symbols are hung from Chinese knots. The most frequent knot used is the one you saw in the decorations put up by Ditan for the festival. It is the symbol for longevity. The streamers are added because they look cool blowing in the breeze.</font></p>
